With more than three decades of camerawork heading her resume’, professional photographer, Julia Carol Johnson, brings to M & J Outdoor Communication an artistic touch and talent like none other. Though her educational background lies in horticulture and landscape technology, her skills – first with film, and most recently, digital – allow her husband, M.D.’s writing to leap from the pages and into the three-dimensional world.
Currently, Julia serves as the chief promotional photographer for the Portland, Oregon-based O’Loughlin Trade Shows, a position she’s held since 1995. Her credits are wide-reaching, and list such notable publications as Outdoor Life, Field & Stream, North American Hunter, and many others. Julia’s work has also appeared on materials distributed by major players in the outdoors industry, including Avery Outdoors, Knight & Hale, and The U.S. Tobacco Company.
